Mission Statement |
The Volunteers to Save Soquel Creek are a group of community members working to restore native habitat along Soquel Creek in Capitola by removing invasive plants. |
Volunteer Duties |
We hold restoration work days once a month to remove invasive species and also help to clean up the area. Training in plant identification (native and invasive) and pulling techniques, tools, and snacks are provided. |
Notes |
Wear closed-toed shoes, long sleeves are preferred since there will be poison oak, and please bring water. You can park at the back of the Nob Hill parking lot on Bay Avenue. Please email or call to RSVP so we know how much coffee and snacks to bring. |
